Responsibilities

At the entry level of this position you will:

- Provide scientific and technical expertise to support overall program goals, including conducting scientific/technical analyses;

- Coordinate and implement the scientific program one or more of the following: cross-Agency risk assessment activities; Agency regulatory activities; external peer review coordination; or cross-Agency science policy initiatives;

- Communicate program goals, objectives and results to a variety of internal and external stakeholders;

- Maintain a proactive professional liaison with others in ORD and EPA to advance the scientific program goals.

When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses.

You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
