Responsibilities

At the entry level of this position, you will:

  • Coordinate and implement the Office of Research and Development's (ORD) Safe and Sustainable Water Research (SSWR), Sustainable and Health Communities (SHC), Air and Energy (AE), and Chemical Safety and Sustainability (CSS) research grant programs;
  • Analyze scientific literature to identify research gaps and make recommendations to management;
  • Prepare written briefing materials and oral presentations of research findings for internal and external audiences;
  • Liaise with partners and stakeholders in ORD and across the Agency to exchange information and advance program goals.

When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses.
