Summary: American Conservation Experience, a nonprofit Conservation Corps, in partnership with the National Park Service, is seeking ONE Volunteer and Community Engagement Member to assist part-time with volunteer program administration alongside Great Smoky Mountain National Park staff.
The member will be expected to contribute ~22 hours a week for 18 weeks.
Start Date: September 20, 2021
End Date: February 6, 2022 (or 18 weeks after start date, with 2 weeks off for the holidays)

_ Location:** Great Smoky Mountains National Park, near Sugarlands Visitor Center, located in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Living Allowance: ACE Member is expected to contribute ~22 hours/week and will receive a living allowance of $330/week to cover the costs of food and incidental expenses, dispersed bi-weekly.
Housing: Housing is the responsibility of the member and not provided by ACE or NPS.

The ACE Member will assist park staff with volunteer program administration and oversight. They will participate in online and in-person outreach at local organizations, businesses, schools, and universities to engage youth and adults in park-based service learning opportunities.
