The Boeing Company is hiring a Environmental Health & Safety First Line Manager to join the Everett, Washington site.
This first line manager will support the Environment, Health, and Safety team in Everett Washington. This manager will lead a team of Industrial Hygienists that support the site. This manager will also lead Safety professionals that support various business partners such as building & infrastructure maintenance, equipment maintenance, our crane department, and our forklift team. This manager will also have oversight of our site safety compliance.
Manages and integrates employee activities across more than one environmental, occupational, health and safety discipline.
Activities managed include the planning and implementation of environmental, occupational, health and safety programs/processes, environmental property assessment and remediation, chemical analysis, evaluation of chemical processing activities and/or related support functions.
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Certified Safety Professional
Bachelor's degree or higher in a safety related field (Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Toxicology, Bio-Engineering, Public Health, etc.)
