Montana Conservation Corps is hiring Fall Field Crew Members!
At MCC, we focus on the growth of our members, transferable job skills, and making a positive impact on the climate and environment. Crew Members and their crews will camp while working on physically demanding conservation projects across the Northern Rockies and Plains. Project work includes, but is not limited to, trail maintenance and construction, watershed restoration, planting, backcountry work, forest fuel reduction, and more! Crew members walk away with valuable hands-on technical skills and applicable job skills like communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills that will help them achieve success in a wide variety of careers. MCC has a wide variety of resources to support you in your term of service; this includes financial assistance, free behavioral health resources, housing resources, resume & federal hiring training for post-service opportunities, and a dedicated team of staff. This is an entry-level position; previous backcountry, trails, or corps experience is NOT required.
Locations : Bozeman, Kalispell, Missoula, Helena MT
Ages: 17-30, up to 35 for military veterans
Term Dates : 8/7/2023-10/25/2023
Living Allowance : $920.00 biweekly before taxes are taken out
AmeriCorps Education Award : $1,374.60 upon completion of term
Member Assistance Program : Free 24/7 access to confidential behavioral health counseling, financial assistance, medical/legal advocacy, and more!
